Visions

I have a vision that so much more is possible, stepping up to dream big and change it all.

I want to be such a part of you, feeling everything, so vivacious and filled with compassion

Hearts turn from stone to blossom,  And life becomes a vision filled with beauty 

Hands touch, making a difference, taking a broken life, healing from the inside out 

Words begin to transform lives, what made no sense before, now join souls together

Discovering there is a beautiful future, Taking guidance from whispers of wisdom

Eyes see what has not been seen before, there is hope and you just seem to know. 

You begin to truly believe, Filled with happiness that words can't even begin to express

We are here perched upon wings  As we soar through life high above the world

We are here together, you are so majestic, I am captivated by your every motion and love 

You hang onto my  every word and all that I say,  Dreams you had as a little child are coming true

Love is too simple a word really, two  humble souls brought together by Christ

Our paths crossed and changed everything, Devine destiny collided and we embrace it 

There was you and there was me just  wondering, Now God has given us a blessing so there is now US together.

Make It So

Do you know who I am or  What I truly feel deep inside 

I'm that rare man standing in the rain Looking at you eyes wide open 

Accept you - past feeling, emotions, fears  Your desires, wants,  hopes, dreams, strengths 

Yes you’re strong willed, plus gentle and more  Needing someone to hold  your hand & listen

It’s  time to give your soul flight to bloom. A wise beautiful angel and butterfly too 

A bit smart damn right you are just that  Absolutely wise, plus creative and a bit crazy 

You’ve been hurt but still a beautiful heart  Trusting me with your deepest fears & feelings 

Sharing enlightenment with Almighty above  Hearing wise word and now that invitation 

Can you share all you are with dreams too. Feeling sorrows but still open to true love

You’re honestl, admitting you can do better  Always sharing your soul when it matters 

Let us dance in total wildness in the rain  Still excited from what we have seen together 

Now you trust and want even more. You’re filled with hopes knowing it’s real 

You see beauty even when you've been hurt. Showing deep caring that grows your soul

Even when we mess up there is a way. A beautiful heart that shouts come with me

After so much it’s always about the children  Teaching and showing there is a better way 

 I don't care what came before we met I am here to listen being your best friend 

Almighty brought us together as a gift. Loving each other more than ever now

You’re  such a sweet beautiful wise woman. No wonder  I love more than ever

Visions Together 

We are more than a mere wild child- Visions and words that show us the way - Such an attitude that inflames our passions - 

Rain and myst have done what's needed - See the rainbows and winds take control - Throwing the past off, running free and wild -

Darling your eyes sparkle touching me deeply - Not unexpected, but wanting so much more - Suddenly touching lovingly full of laughter - 

You're the only one who really understands - A stunning beauty throbbing wanting it all - Kissing deeply having such fun together - 

Now listen, sound of waves sand on feet - Dancing together shouting come with me - Loving you more than you've ever  know -

 Now it's time to float feeling the passions - We're not afraid to be difference still in love - It's cool just matching our souls inside -

 

You are such a diamond  meant for me  - Almighty brings us a life that's unfolding - Yes darling I love you too now and forever -

Inspiration 

What is it that inspires you ? 

What makes your heart sing ?

What matters more than anything ?

That's a big question, but you know.

It's having someone who believes in you,

It's having someone who speaks the truth,

It's having someone who's not afraid to fail.

It's having someone whom you can trust,

It's having someone who is not always strong,

It's having someone who shares their feelings.

It's having someone who stands by you,

It's having someone who truly understands, 

It's having someone who lives their faith. 

It's so much more than that you know. 

You sometimes find that special gift,

But are you truly ready to take them on ?

They say they are a handful so be careful,

They are smart and always want to learn,

They are sometimes fragile showing their pain.

They questioned things always wanting better. 

They are so beautiful from the inside and out, 

And even better, they become your trusted friend.

A lifetime of fears and anxieties, do you dare ? 

They understand you better than even you do,

They take the time to listen as you two talk,

What a special connection hearts beating as one

Time to sing alleluia to the Lord Almighty,

It's so cool to have someone trusted to love,

So throwing caution to the wind you begin. 

It's an adventure of a lifetime, here I come, 

Let us walk together to face our fears,

Such an inspiration being able to do it together

Poetry - Do You Dare

 

Thoughts form in my mind full of anticipation and many desires 

But that is not enough and have to I ask  you Do You Dare  ??

Do You Dare 

Do you dare embrace and love  This woman standing before you

She's not like others you've known before Her eyes ablaze asking are you ready 

She has been through way too much  Yeah most turn their backs being afraid

No she's not innocent so much hurt inside There are no lies or a rush to judge you 

There is a storm that covers what's inside Strength within her heart hoping to survive

She has the will and soul of a warrior Capable of so much with burning desires

She's stubborn never giving up the fight Showing such character and that determination 

She is a complex woman with beauty inside Do you dare step up accepting the challenge

Walking beside her ready to face life's storms Looking around carefully, not backing down 

Her heart is pure with the storm her strengths Overcoming anything thrown in her path. 

Do you dare see below the hard surface Full of anger doubts from countless others 

Stepping up to her saying okay I'm ready Taking the time to listen and understand. 

Her complexity a rare treasure to cherish Not afraid to see her amazing qualities 

Her heart with flaws turned into strengths. What a warrior with strength and beauty

She has that rare spirit that flows to you. Needing freedom and offering true love 

We ignite the fire with such high expectations Here we are together dancing with the storm 

All because we believe and take the dare

Poetry - Dreaming with Your Heart

 

Dreaming with Your Heart 

There comes a time when you have to remove the blinders that hold you back 

Close your eyes now and look inside and follow your heart for you know more now 

Follow the path that pulls you now toward the light that you know is true way

Don't look back on the past and all that it did to cloud your mind with evil ways too

Your challenge is to see through the myst and push off the shore toward new hope  

Your heart has always know what the mind had tried to hide a purity so rare 

So take that step that brings you closer to a destiny that you've always felt inside 

Reach out your hand to hold and embrace the one who's always believed in you 

Now is the time as the chains fade away and you discover that dreams come true

Breath

Take a deep breath now And know that it will be 

Don't be afraid to take a risk Turn your back and begin anew 

You know you can do it again And don't forget about the light

It's not about the games or fun But being true to only yourself

Take the time to bring God inside And let Him be your true guide 

When you fight and hurt inside  It's time to tell them no more 

It's the one that's stands by you  Who is meant to love you true 

So push off from the shore my child Let the winds fill and open your heart 

You deserve to be happy and alive And have a life that radiates true love

Poetry - Loving with Passion

Loving with Passion

God doesn’t ask you to accept everything, An ordinary life or going through the motions.

Life isn’t always pretty, sweet and nice, It can be filled with pain and deception.

What is it that really drives you to believe, And gives you that passion for life.

Others try to tell you what to do or think, Putting you down saying you’re no good.

My Dad gave me high expectations saying, "Look for the best and never look back”

My passions are different from others, Not following the norm & asking “Why Not”

It becomes a risk to love with your heart, Needing to understand and be heard.

You have to stand firm and believe, For God loves you for all that you are.

I took chances and sometimes failed, Or  succeed by going in new directions.

What the hell, I knew God was pushing me, To find that one person so much like me.

A woman came to me expecting more, Trying to look strong, but fragile inside.

At first, “Can you like me and be a friend?”, “Even with the pain and damage that I feel”

Her life, harder and different from mine, Gave us the same outlook, a rebel in life.

God challenges us to reach out at times, Not turning away from love and belonging.

I stood beside her when no one else dared, And in the process I found a beautiful angel.

Even though I am strong and giving, It’s she that changed me, saving my life.

Standing side by side hand in hand, We know God has a purpose to it all.

At times, I cried and wondered to myself “Why” There was a need to understand and feel loved.

We became best friends, trust and then more, There was something taking us to a higher level.

God puts His gifts into your life for a reason, Forcing you to choose, looking inside and grow.

Will dreams come true, or will I only be hurt again, Remember, true love comes when you believe.

Really,  loving your best friend with passion, Trusting one another with a shared vision & more

That is what God makes possible for a few, Giving you a full life to loving with passion

These words came to me as a thought about the life and love that my girlfriend Nicole Lynn and I now share together. I love you so much - what a life we now have together.

Poetry - Blue Water

Blue Water

We find ourselves in a new place,

Certainly something that we never expected.

We were sailing along quite fine,

Close to the shore, but getting nowhere.

A light appeared from above, angels too,

Could this be what we really need right now ??

 Do we even dare since we know so little,

But there is a calm feeling, knowing and hoping.

It must be dreams and prayers that are being answered,

By the Lord who has always been here for us.

We are now headed in a completely new direction,

Blue waters that are so deep and uncertain to us.

We should feel scarred with all the big waves,

And the winds that are hitting our faces.

We have left behind sadness and all the hurts,

To find ourselves anew, full of love and peace.
 
We have survived, changed, grown with love,
Because we took a chance with God in our hearts,

He has shown us how to grow and be amazed,

And find a place full of love just for us together.
