Poetry - Kiss of Remembrance

Kiss of Remembrance

Renee LaFabrae

A knight lies asleep in my bed
His brow lined as he feels his pain
Hand holding mine, his grasp tightens
I almost cry out, but I stay silent
Across His inner vision
He is a man of great beauty
The One who lies beneath my sheets

Sleeping

His breath now is quite
He has gone deeper
I watch his chest rise and fall
And long to touch him
With my Priestess hands
Instead I write poetry of him
In my mind
My soul has stirred awake
A long silent heart
In response to him

His soul is known to me
Though it was but this day
That I have seen him
The Spirit of this Knight called to mine
As he came into the field
Of the Midsummer's Tourney
Astride a horse of dappled grey
His amour almost fey
A strange indigo blue
Around his head concealing
Yet, revealing his ancient ancestry
A metal mask in the shape of a swan

I Know You !

As I sat next to my father
Who had called me home
From the Holy Isle
I watched you
The winged feel in y Heart
Came up into my eyes and I thought

I Know You !

Yet I did not know your story
So I gazed upon the device
On your shield
A Unicorn rampant
By the seer’s art, I let this tell me more
Of who you are
I followed the symbol
On an inner quest for knowing

A White Hart hurdled through the forest
Someone on a horse came rushing through
Charging through the forest
Pelted by the branches
A whirlwind of leaves in their wake
Horse and rider leaped through
An invisible gate
An enchanted place
Where mirror meets reflection

The White Hart still ahead turned
Quite suddenly into a white rabbit
The rider taken aback
Stops and thinks twice
About chasing rabbits he turns around
And sees before him a White Lady
He cam down from his horse
To kneel in Her Light

In the flash of an instant, a vision
Came and went
The Knight in Indigo amour rode by
And I stood and called
"Sir Knight"

You turned and caught my ribbon
You locked my eyes, only briefly
Then I let out my breath

You Are Back !

Will this be the life we can be together
My Priestess self came forward
To take my heart into hiding

I watched the gallantry and foolishness
Of a jousting tourney
To be played out before me
I watched my Love Win the Rose
As he came forward toward me
A mad and terrible knight, all in black
Came forward to challenge the Defender
For he who wins become Defender of the Rose
The mad knight concealed an iron thorn
And sought to give to the underworld
And would have had I not
Seen the treachery
And my seer vision and then called out
With a power in my voice

Stand Your Charge
Or, Forfeit Your Life

The wave hit him and the horse
Refused to move
But not before the lance had torn
You amour sleeve, its deadly thorn
Piercing your very side
Almost taking you from me once again

This time I shall not let you go
And I believe the Goddess
Will allow it to be so
My hand hovers over your heart
A strong beat in cadence with the earth
You will live
And I will love you
Your eyes look up from the depths of sleep
They still burn a thunderous passion
I place my fingers on your lips
Asking silence
There are no words
Only this

A kiss that is long and deep
And as I drink from you well

I will give you the Kiss of Remembrance

Poetry - Love Calls

Love Calls

Love calls me to come outside,

Leaving the comfort zone of myself,
And the protective fortress behind.

To discover your needs before my own;
To find my fulfillment lies hidden
In the exchange of I for Us.

Love calls and I answer tentatively

Treading on uncertain ground;
Testing its ability to bear
The weight of my heart and expectations

Fear of falling,
Causing me to love gingerly.

Holding my breath, I take a chance
On losing myself in you.

Pleasantly surprised to find,
You so generous with your tenderness

Your secret places.
Putting your trust in my hands.

I stand ashamed of all
I still withhold from you,

And. I am challenged to forsake
Everything that I consider safe.

Love calls and my yearning races

Ahead of my suspicious will.
Throwing caution to the wind

I release all that I am.
Only to find that I've lost nothing

And found everything in the discovery that the real comfort zone
is in your arms

Poetry - Holding You Close

Holding You Close

I wake up in the morning and
Oh, how I feel such desires for my Love Flower.

You are the one that I hold close to my heart,
Never to let go, for you are so me.

I ache inside to be held close by you,
Those tender kisses and hot desires.

I am all yours now and forever,
Physical, mental, and oh, so much more!

We step into the light and it will be fine,
For we share all that we are and will be.

We are lovers and soulmates, oh, yes!
A chance for a once in a lifetime love.

I give you my heart and soul to have and hold,
And you know that you are truly my best friend.

With so many choices, we found each other,
And, yes! You mean so much to me!

All in all, in all you do, and me too,
We will always be together and in love!

Nicole Lynn, I love you so very much!
I always have an always will!

A Poem of deep passion and love for my wife-to-be, Nicole Lynn.

Poetry - The Dance

The Dance is the story of how we can live soulfully on a daily basis. It is the story of discovering why our quest for self-improvement does not lead to happiness or better lives or a more peaceful, just world. It is the story of finding who we really are, becoming all we are and knowing it is enough. It is the story of our struggles with those things that make it hard to remember who and what we really are, the places where is easy to become afraid-in our culture, the places where we deal with sex and death and money and power.

The Dance

By Oriah Mountain Dreamer

I have sent you my invitation, the note inscribed on the palm of my hand by the fire of living. Don’t jump up and shout, “Yes this is what I want! Let’s do it!”. Just stand up quietly and dance with me.

Show me how you follow your deepest desires, spiraling down into the ache within the ache, and I will show you how I reach inward and open outward to feel the kiss of the Mystery, sweet lips on my own, every day.

Don’t tell me you want to hold the whole world in your heart. Show me how you turn away from making another wrong without abandoning yourself when you are hurt and afraid of being unloved.

Tell me a story of who you are, and see who I am in the stories I am living. And together we will remember that each of us always has a choice.

Don’t tell me how wonderful things will be … someday. Show me you can risk being completely at peace, truly okay with the way things are right now in this moment, and again in the next and the next and the next…

I have heard enough warrior stories of heroic daring. Tell me how you crumble when you hit the wall, the place you cannot go beyond by the strength of your own will. What carries you to the other side of the wall, to the fragile beauty of your own humanness ?

And after we have shown each other how we have set and kept the clear, healthy boundaries that help us live side by side with each other, let us risk remembering that we never stop silently loving those that we once loved out loud.

Take me to the places on the earth that teach you how to dance, the places where you can risk letting the world break your heart, and I will take you to the places where the earth beneath my feet and the stars overhead make my heart whole again and again.

Show me how you take care of business without letting business determine who you are. When the children are fed, but still the voices within and around us show that soul’s desires have too high a price, let us remind each other that it is never about the money.

Show me how you offer to your people and the world the stories and the songs that you want our children’s children to remember, and I will show you how I struggle, not to change the world, but to love it.

Sit beside me in long moments of shared solitude, knowing both our absolute aloneness and our undeniable belonging. Dance with me in the silence and in the sound of small daily words, holding neither against me at the end of the day.

And when the sound of all the declarations of our sincerest intentions has died away on the wind, dance with me in the infinite pause before the next great inhale of the breath that is breaking us all into being, not filling the emptiness from the outside, or from within.

Don’t say “Yes!” Just take my hand and dance with me.

Poetry - Dancing with My Love

Dancing with My Love

The day has come again to begin anew
Come take my hand and dance with me.

The sun appears above filling the sky
Butterflies wander among the wildflowers.

This is our time my love, just for us
You and I understand how we feel.

Take my hand honey, and dance with me
Spinning and turning as only we know how.

Let us celebrate a love that is so pure
So come babe, dance with me, forever and ever.

Everyone is looking at us just to see
I feel so blessed to have you to love.

This is our adventure, a lifetime meant for us
So sweetheart, take my hand and dance with me.

Let us celebrate our love for the world to see
Take my hand, let us dance, just you and me.

Poetry - Look Up and Feel

Look Up and Feel

Look up and feel the radiance of the sun
The breeze touches your heart so dear

Know that you do belong right here.
Finally, it begins to make sense.

For you have Spirit at your side
She's the one who knows you so.

She comes to you with a smile
And now you finally can believe

Friend, sage, and guide, all in one
Thanks for being here just for me

To hold and love me my dear one

For my dear friend Spirit

Poetry - A Precious Rose

A Precious Rose

See the precious rose as it
Floats upon the ocean waves.

It seems to have been placed there for me
To hold in my hands and feel its beauty.

Oh, see how it has bloomed and grown,
It touches my heart so deep.

Even though I have rescued it from the waves,
It too touches me and I seem to know.

You and I have been touched by God,
Who fills us with love and such desires.

Come join me on this magickal journey
that we show us the way of the heart.

Poetry - Time After Time

Time After Time

Here I am, lying in bed,
Listening to the clock tick away,
You're close to me and on my mind.

So many crazy things are happening,
How dare anyone try to hurt my love!
There are so many circles of confusion.

Oh, we have such needs and expectations,
Nothing can stop what we have together,
God has planned and directs our destiny.

Flash backs to the old and once beens,
Nothing seems right and how it hurts,
Those memories are now in the past.

Push all that away and begin anew,
Hold onto me, and pull me close,
You are safe, time after time.

Suitcase of memories from another time,
Nothing can touch you ever again,
Close the door and lock it away!

You know that you have found me,
If you fall, I will catch you,
I am loving you true, time after time.

Poetry - I Want You to Know

I Want You to Know

I want you to know, babe,
How very much I love you!
Even these words, don't tell the story.

I look up and see a beautiful rainbow,
It merges within the magick of the moon,
It's what makes you special to me.

Come here precious and hold me tight,
Oh, how I need you right now!
Please kiss me and love me so!

Three faeries come to light the nite,
Wings full of such glitter and joy,
Joining our hearts together as one,

Mo anan cara, now and forever!
A beacon and guide just for me,
You are my beautiful love so true.

Ah, those beautiful words, "I Love You",
To treasure and live them everyday,
You have become the love of my life

You are full of such joy and confusion,
As we discover our hearts desires,
Here you are, such a part of me!

Precious woman, come into to my life,
Loving me with such hot passions,
Our love grows with each passing moment,

Come tell me your fears and stories,
Let's cross that magick bridge together,
In a union of passion and desires.

For my precious Nicole Lynn,
"I Love You" with such passion!

Poetry - Dreams About You

Dreams About You

A beautiful angel came to me in a dream,
Life is not always what is seems to be,
She brought me to a special place,
And gave me a gift that changed my life.

She whispered, "Take Nicole's hand now!",
She's the one who looks up to you,
Yet, she'll lead you to dreams come true,
Only when you close your eyes & open your heart.

Together, we can get through the darkness,
Where rainbow colors wrap around us,
Oh, see the beauty without any end!
Rainbow dreams and a love so true.

You are the keeper of our dreams,
Dream sweetly of love and the light,
I share with you my joys and sorrows.
Our love will get us through the nite.

Poetry - Seeing Just Us

Seeing Just Us

Come closer for awhile my love,Tell me all about you story...

What do you feel right now ?What do you see just for you ?

Once there was much pain and suffering,Full of black clouds and such a myst...

Something stopped you in your tracks,So you could see from your heart and soul...

Now is the time to push it all away,Looking only to whom you have become...A future that is meant just for you...

Look, the sun and a rainbow have now appeared,As we join together to love just like this...

You must know how much I really need you,Seeing us together, just talking and being,Holding, kissing and knowing that it's okay...

Oh, there are still challenges to overcome,But, that is the true test for just us...

This is us now, having so much fun,Oh, it's a ride to discover ourselves,Laughing and giggling like small kids...

What is happening now babe ?Making new memories every single day,The future is yours, mine, ours to grab hold...

There's a cross at the front of the church,I face you, slipping on the magick ring,Seeing your eyes sparkle as I say, "I Do!"...

I see a house, our new home for us,Land, animals, and just us together,Cooking dinner and sharing the day...

I see you in a beautiful dress,Oh, now it's an erotic outfit,"Come Davy, take me and come inside"...

You and I were just meant to be,Feeling such a grace as God touches us,Everyone sees us, just so in love...

See us together on a trip,Going places to learn and discover,Seeing us, just us, as "mo anan cara"

There is a wishing well and wizard nearby. He looks at you, "Nicole, come here now!",You have such a story to tell it all...

Look at that big smile, beaming from you! This is us, just us, being so true,Sharing a life that's just meant to be...

Listen, you can hear our baby girl,Our pride and joy, who stops to say,"Mommy, I love you bunches of flowers!"...

God looks down, seeing us just together,We are at a gathering, an anniversary,Filled with love from friends and family...

Babe, I expect so much from you,And even more, seeing just us...

Babe. Take my hand, and hold on!
Experience a life that is meant just for us!
Our dreams and hopes are coming true!
Seeing just us!

Poetry - The Way That You Love Me, Babe

The Way You Love Me, Babe

The way you love me, babe,
Those precious looks, a touch
and that gentle smile...

The way you love me, babe,
With flaming heart and
such desires in your eyes...

And, oh, the patience we have...
Your will and strength for permitting
us to grow and understand...

Oh, how I share your longing and desires,
To consummate this richness in its time...

Oh, how deep our love has become,
Full of vigor, wants and desires...

My hand reaches out to touch you again,
To remember every part of my angel...

The Way You Love Me, Babe!

Poetry - A Diamond Meant Just For Me

A Diamond Meant Just for Me

I was walking along one fine day,
What a mist there was in the morn...

There was a sparkle that I came upon,
Oh, such a faerie to touch my life!

She's such a diamond, oh so rare,
Loving me like no one ever did before...

My precious Nicole is so very special,
Nothing can change the love I feel for her...

Once in a lifetime, you hold someone dear,
Once in a lifetime, you truly understand...

The journey begins when you open your heart,
To discover what has been there all along...

Someone to touch your soul, oh so real,
A life that was always meant to be...

Now your dreams are oh so true,
A diamond meant just for me!

Poetry - I Need You

I Need You

The sun in my night -
A warm embrace takes hold of me -
It's You!

I long to hold you in my arms -
Catch your tears -
I need you here with me!

You change who I am -
A Love Flower within
With your tender loving care!

I have blossomed -
Fully beautiful -
Because you love me

Thru and Thru

Poetry - Loving you True

Loving You True

I see my darling and truly know
That you love me so very much

Oh, how I love to kiss your tender lips
Oh, those eyes are so beautiful and deep

Your hands take mine as we walk
Everywhere and nowhere, just being us

I get lost in my feelings for you
Knowing we are meant for each other

You are such an angel and princess all in one
Ready to give yourself and love to only me

How I long to hold you close to me
And love you as only you deserve

A love like this has never been seen
So perfect, so pure, and so us!

Poetry - Always

Always

Whispers upon my skin
Ocean waves crash against dreams ...
I lay asleep always in your arms

Whispers tickle my ear
Sunshine kisses my hopes ...
Awaken, I watch through your eyes

Whispering Always yours
Feeling you Near
Soulmates …

Whispers of Love
Stars that Shine …
For You will Always be Mine …

Poetry - Come Dance with Me

Come Dance With Me

Come dance with me this bright nite
Come open the boughs of the forest wide
Ah, see the faerie lights so bright
Never mind what you might see

I see a faerie who knows me well
There are forbidden sights meant for us
Oh, look and taste, delightful honey fruits
And the moon shines upon thy staff
Let us drink and play and fulfill our desires

There is a liquid song from faerie flutes
Come and dance as we spin our spells
It flows and braids all around us
But don't forget who you are to us

Poetry - My Love David

My Love David

I never knew there was a feeling like this --
So rich, deep and true

I never knew I’d fall in Love --
With a man so loving and true

I never knew I would want to spend forever --
Until I found you

David - You awakened a passion --
Within my heart, body and soul

I love you so deeply --
That I ache with the reality

Longing For you

Poetry - A Garden of Love

A Garden of Love

It began with that special spark –
Some sixty years ago.

Marie and David began to grow –
A garden made from love and trust.

They planted ideas that truly matter –
And surrounded them in rainbows of light.

They’ve enjoyed many beautiful adventures –
And weathered storms of doubts and uncertainty.

They’ve raised four wonderful kids –
Who’ve reflected well upon their values.

The years have come and gone –
Like leaves whispering into the wind.

Both sing with voices to one song –
With many years of happiness between them.

A gift of love so warm, serene and kind –
Comes from a friendship matured by the years.

There is a blessing knowing these two –
And a garden nurtured and filled with love.

Poetry - Loving, Believing

Loving, Believing

I believe in you so much,
I am always here for you.

Oh, when I think about you,
I'm so inspired and filled with love

I look forward to each new day,
So, I can love you even more.

We are here for each other,
Giving support and help always

Ah, precious, spread your wings,
And soar with me to fulfill our dreams

We are so alike in all that we feel and do
Knowing what it takes to be best friends

Listen to me and know your heart,
I'm here to wipe you tears away

I know someone very special, YOU!
Because we have Loving, Believing

Warm embracing rays of light

Poetry - Dad: My Special Friend

Dad – My Special Friend

Come here so I can tell you the story about Dad
He was a special man and such a wonderful angel.

He was my true hero and my very best friend
He showed me how to dream and expect the best.

He was so humble and always here to listen
He seemed to understand even before I spoke.

He was a wise man who gave such practical advice
He had a blessed life and made such a difference.

He encouraged me to pursue my dreams in life
A higher degree and a life of helping others.

He always made sure that everyone was included
He reached out to those that needed it the most.

He challenged me in so many important ways
He accepted me for all my ideals and thoughts

I found a canvas to paint with my own rainbow colors
As he opened the gateway with the key of knowledge

He came to me as the eagle lifted him toward heaven
At eternal peace with the flame burning brightly.

I will miss you so very much my precious Dad
You will live on always in my heart and soul
Showing me the way to live and know what matters

Thank you Dad for loving me like you did
And being my special friend.

Poetry - Knowing, Loving

Knowing, Loving

I know how special you are to me
For you are here to love only me

I care s o very much about you
And we stand here together
In the battle of life and love

I reach out to touch and have you
And you pull me closer to you
And say "David, I love you so much!"

Life often can be hard to comprehend
When dear ones depart from our life

They live on always in our hearts
To show us the true way to live

You are here as my sweet Nicole
And we see the same with such eyes

I will go on to live longer and know
Not only because of all I am
But, because you love me so much.

I give myself and dedicate my life
To the one I truly love, namely YOU!

There are too many pains and suffering
But, I know that I can make it now,
Since we have become joined as lovers

Babe, come here to hold me close
And, yes, let us live and love truly
And know the fairytale can come true

There are great joys in this world
When you have each other to believe
Knowing, Loving you, only you, Nicole
